What I Want for Christmas

Bread got a visit from Santa while she was staying at Kate's greyhound kennel. She asked for a forever home. I hope Santa is able to find her one.

Now this is what retirement from the track is all about.

Did somebody say cat? I don't care because I just ignore them.

Wow! Winter has arrived, and I am staying warm under the blankets.

Bread has adjusted well to living in a home. She is one of the sweetest and friendliest greyhounds I have ever fostered. The BLT litter has a reputation of being extremely sweet; Bread has definitely shown off that quality. She met her brother at the 5k in Oct. and he too was extremely gentle and sweet. Bread enjoys going for her walks in the neighborhood and playing with her squeaky toys. She settles easily in her crate and is well behaved in the home. She has learned to walk up and down the stairs. We enjoy having Bread in our home, and as you can tell she settles very easily.

I went for a hike last weekend with my buddy Lance.

Toys and a dog bed...doesn't get better than this.

Bread enjoys playing with plush toys and putting them on her dog bed.
She has been well behaved, since she arrived on Sunday. Bread is very gentle and affectionate. She also loves to take walks and play with her new friend Lance.

How cool is that to have so many siblings local? Once Bread is adopted, the BLT families hope to plan some reunions and play dates!

Bread is typical of the other BLTs...sweet and loveable. She's actually the smallest of the local BLTs. They don't get much sweeter that the BLTs!
